The Weipa site offers student accommodation, Eduroam Wi-Fi, simulation clinical skills rooms, videoconferencing and teleconferencing facilities.
We facilitate mentorship and pastoral support, offering and supporting volunteering opportunities within the local community; as well as organising regular events to help our student to meet new people, explore Weipa and the surrounds, and start building a network.
Awareness of cross-cultural issues and the way they influence upon the health and well-being of rural and remote populations, especially Indigenous communities, is provided given the locality of our service delivery.
